The Super Bowls played during Landry's coaching career were in California, Florida or Louisiana. But when Super Bowl XLV comes to North Texas in February 23 years since his last season and 11 years since his death visitors will drive to a stadium Tom Landry didn't live to see on a highway that bears his name.

Starting this week, additions will go up along Interstate 30 temporarily adding Super Bowl Highway to existing Tom Landry Highway signs. I 30 will be one of the major routes for people traveling to and from Super Bowl events and the game.

League officials are expected to have a better idea in the next couple of weeks about how many tickets will be available for the Super Bowl. The estimates vary from the low 90,000 range to more than 100,000.
