Betting Tips & Picks for the PGA Greenbrier Classic

The Greenbrier Classic will be back in action this week, after a season off last year due to severe flooding. 156 golfers will take the course at Old White TPC Course in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The purse for the Greenbrier Classic is more than $7.1M. The par 70 course is more than 7,200 yards. Danny Lee is the defending champion, and the course record for the Classic is Stuart Appleby, who shot a -22 in 2010. Let’s take a look at some Betting Tips and Picks for the PGA Tour Event – Greenbrier Classic upcoming this weekend:

Patrick Reed +1200

Reed was unable to get any traction going at the Quicken Loans National, in which he placed 17th. The previous event, Reed placed fifth at the Travelers. Reed is ranked 51st overall on the PGA Money List. He is the favorite to win this event, and is listed at +1200.

Bill Haas +1600

Bill Haas has been a professional golfer since 2004, and currently 22nd on the PGA Money List. He has made himself over $2.4M on the tour. In 17 events, Haas has placed in the Top 10 three times. Haas finished 5th at the US Open at Erin Hills, and then played last week at the Quicken Loans National. His 67 on the final day put him 13th overall, and earned him more than $133,000. Haas is +1600 to win the Greenbrier.

Kevin Kisner +1800

Kisner has made his way into the Top 10 on the Money List. Kisner finished 58th at the US Open, after going 76 on back to back days. He still earned $25,000 for the event. He has made over $3.7M this season on the golf course. He has great skill, but putting it together is going to be the key for this +1800 odds.

David Lingmerth +2000

The 29 year old from Sweden has cracked the Top 100 on the Money List. Lingmerth went into the final day Sunday as the leader, but shot a 73 to put him 5th overall. That was his first and only Top 10 of the 2017 season. Lingermeth needs just $68,000 to reach $1M on the season in earnings.

Phil Mickelson +2200

The 47 year old did not play at the US Open. Mickelson actually has not played in an event since the St. Jude at the beginning of June. He finished in the Top 10 there. Mickelson made nearly $2M for that finish. Mickelson is going to be getting himself in condition to compete at the British Open, and his +2200 odds are fun.

Bubba Watson +2800

The 38 year old from Florida has slipped out of the Top 10 on the Money List. Surprisingly, Watson has made just $800,000 on the tour. He has finished twice in the Top 10 this season, but missed the cuts on numerous events. Watson has not made the final two days since the Memorial back at the beginning of June. Watson is listed at +2800.
