One of the professional golf tournaments as part of the PGA Tour will take place this weekend in Silvis Illinois, just outside the Quad Cities. The tournament has been going on since 1971, as the Quad Cities Open. The course will be TPC Deere Run, which is a par 71, and over 7,200 yards. The prize fund is more than $5.6M. Steve Stricker holds the record at the John Deere Classic, with -26 during the 2010 event. Last year, Ryan Moore won the event, with a -22, as he knocked off Ben Marton. Daniel Berger +1200

Berger is the favorite in this event. He is 10th on the PGA Money List, with more than $3.6 won this season. Berger’s last event was at the Travelers in late June. Brian Harman +1400

Harman is 9th on the money list, just ahead of Daniel Berger. Harman has 6 Top 10 finishes this season, with his most recent coming at the US Open. There, he finished 2nd, and won over $1M. In his last event, he finished 35th at the Travelers. Harman is listed at +1400.

Danny Lee +1600

The 26 year old from New Zealand is 54th on the money list. Lee has finished in the Top 10 in two out of his last three events. In his last three, he has finished in the Top 25. Lee has made the cut in his last 5 events, and was 9th at the Greenbrier last weekend. Danny Lee is listed at +1600.

Kevin Kisner +2000

Kevin Kisner has made over $3.7M on the tour this season, and finished in the Top 10 5 out of 19 events. He has made the cut in 15 out of 19 events, but is coming off a missed cut at the Greenbrier. Kevin Kisner is listed at +2000.

Steve Stricker +2200

The guy that has won the most John Deere Classic events is Steve Stricker. With three wins at John Deere, the 50 year old has not done much this season. He is 115th on the money list, with just under $800,000. Stricker has not played since the US Open, where he did surprisingly well, finishing 16th at -5.

Zach Johnson +2500

Zach Johnson is listed at +2500, but a fan favorite at the John Deere Classic. Johnson has not had a very good year. Thus far, he is 101st on the tour, with nearly $875,000. He has finished in the Top 10, twice this season with 16 events played. His most recent play was a missed cut at the Travelers.

Kevin Na +4000

Kevin Na is a very streaky golfer this season. Ranked 86th on the money list, Na has reached the $1M mark. Na has finished in the Top 10- 3 times in 19 events. Na is coming off a 22nd place finish at the Quicken Loans National.
